"For my friend's 14-year-old child."
I donated in support of this campaign.
Founded in 1999, Ruth Ellis Center (REC) has established a national
reputation for quality and innovation in providing trauma-informed
services for lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning
(LGBTQ+) youth, and young adults, with an emphasis on young people of
color, experiencing homelessness, involved in the child welfare system,
and/or experiencing barriers to health and wellbeing. Donations are crucial to ensuring continuity of these critical services.
The weekend of September 25th, Gale PRIDE members will be participating in a socially-distanced activity of their choice to support the Ruth Ellis Center. We invite you to pledge your monetary support of our activities, and to join us by jogging, biking, walking the dog, kayaking, dancing, or any fun activity you choose—the point is just to get out there and move! Please be sure to donate today, and feel free to share this link far and wide with your friends and family.
"Why STRIDE? STRIDE because change requires
action. STRIDE because LGBTQ youth deserve to be seen and heard. STRIDE for
someone you love. STRIDE for a more equitable world. STRIDE because you can
make a difference. STRIDE because complacency isn’t an option. STRIDE because even
though we are apart, we stand together."

More to come. . .
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping us meet our goal for STRIDE: The Ruth Ellis Legacy Walk!
