Ruth Ellis Center (REC) has established a national reputation for quality and innovation in providing trauma-informed services for lesbian, gay, bi-attractional, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+) youth, and young adults, with an emphasis on young people of color, experiencing homelessness, involved in the child welfare system, and/or experiencing barriers to health and wellbeing.

We are honored to have the support of LGBTQ Nation and Chevrolet as they shine a light on LGBTQ youth homelessness and other vital issues facing the LGBTQ community through Authentic Voices of Pride.

Nationally, LGBTQ young people experience homelessness at more than twice the rate of their heterosexual peers. For LGBTQ youth of color, the risk of homelessness is even greater.

To show their commitment to this national crisis, Chevrolet will be matching all donations to this campaign up to $25,000 to support the LGBTQ young people served by Ruth Ellis Center.
