I donated in support of this campaign.
Join us throughout the month of June as we show our PRIDE and support of LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness, family rejection, and other barriers to care by walking proudly in our communities.
Consider this: LGBTQ+ youth who report at least one accepting adult were 40% less likely to report a suicide attempt in the past year.*
Stride for Pride is our opportunity to show LGBTQ+ young people nationwide they are not alone, and there are people in their communities that stand ready to support them, help them, and celebrate them.
Together we will raise awareness and the critical funding necessary to sustain the programs and services of Ruth Ellis Center.
It’s easy to participate in Stride for Pride, and there’s no registration fee. Individuals, colleagues, friends, and families can share their support of LGBTQ+ young people by walking. Where, you ask? Anywhere. Everywhere. This is our month-long PRIDE PARADE!
To make sure we are reaching as many communities as possible, we are encouraging small groups to come together wherever they may reside, to walk and raise awareness and the critical funds necessary to sustain the important services at Ruth Ellis Center for years to come.
Because there is no registration fee to participate, we encourage all walkers to accept pledges to support Ruth Ellis Center’s mission. Just follow these easy steps to get started:
