Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us for Ruth Ellis Center Inc
On Friday, June 28th at noon, a team of Wayne State students, faculty, and staff will participate in Ruth Ellis Center's "STRIDE for PRIDE" fundraiser by hosting a brief walk -- less than a mile -- around campus that will start outside of Old Main, circle around campus, and end at the Elaine Jacob Gallery for a little picnic and visit to WSU's portion of Mighty Real / Queer Detroit's city-wide exhibit of queer art. The event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and friends, and there are several ways to get involved if you're interested in helping the Ruth Ellis Center:
- Donate to REC or encourage others to donate. (You don't have to attend the walk to donate.)
- Share the fundraising page on your social media.
- Attend the walk itself. (You don't have to donate or raise donations to attend—Everyone is welcome.)
