Hello! My name is Virgil Ciel, a local Detroit Drag King and your current reigning Ms.ter Gigi’s 2025-26.
As a part of my reign, I’m raising funds for Ruth Ellis Center. They are an organization I have always cared deeply about, and I support their mission in protecting our LGBTQ+ youth—especially those who are school-aged—who are facing increased threats to their safety, well-being, and dignity.
Ruth Ellis Center provides stable housing, affirming health care, and holistic support that help LGBTQ+ young people thrive—not just survive.
Every dollar raised helps fund the kind of care that changes lives: from safe housing and food access to therapy, connection, and belonging.
